1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR FREE GUEST PASS TO THE LBN WINTER REGIONAL MIXER Follow these instructions to send personalized FREE PASSES to everyone in your address book. Send the e-mail as soon as possible to allow your friends time to fit the mixer into their schedules. Print these instructions. Save this file to your computer. (If you are using a word processor other than Microsoft Word, resave in a format compatible with your software. ) If you are using Microsoft Word and the text in the FREE PASS is jumbled, reset the margins. Click on “File”, then “Page Setup” Change the margins to 1” on the left and right, and 0.7” at the top and bottom. Click “OK”. Enter your name in the FREE PASS by placing your cursor at the beginning of the underline over the words “Name of LBN Member and Chapter”, type your name, comma, and your chapter name in bold capital letters using 16 point type. Delete the underline and the words “Name of LBN Member and Chapter”. Type your name and number at the end of the message at the bottom of this page. Delete the line about visiting your exhibit, if you are not exhibiting. Use “Edit” and “Copy” to copy the message. Delete this page of instructions, then save the file to your computer. (Optional: save as a pdf file if you have that capability.) Open your e-mail software and paste the message below into the text box. Enter the names of those you want to e-mail into the “To” box. (Warning: you might have to break the list into groups of 50 to get your provider to send them all.) Type “An invitation from (your name)!!”, in the subject line. Attach the FREEPASSEMAIL file to your e-mail. Send the e-mail. Make follow up calls to those whose attendance you want to assure.
