WATER
METEORIC WATER
Rain droplets that seep down into
spaces between the rocks.
Becomes the part of the water table
and is the primary source of drinking
water.

These liquids are largely composed of
water, but also contain
many mineral components as ions
in solution.
liquids that were trapped in the pores
of sedimentary rocks as they were
deposited.
MAGMATIC WATER
Water which was formerly chemically bound
up in minerals and has been released by
heating in volcanic processes.
Released to the atmosphere during
a volcanic eruption.
Water that exists within, and in equilibrium
with, a magma or water-rich volatile fluids
that are derived from a magma.
SURFACE or RUN-OFF WATER
is the flow of water that occurs when
excess storm water, melt water, or
other sources flows over the earth's
surface.
This might occur because soil is
saturated to full capacity, because rain
arrives more quickly than soil can
