The purpose of the training of programme managers is to; equip managers with the
tools and be able to better understand and appreciate the dynamics of the HIV epidemic
in their individual countries, better appreciate the qualities of good management, to efficiently plan strategically and operationalize country plans, and
to effectively mobilize partners and resources to strengthen scale up the health sector response to HIV/AIDS.
