2. Introduction
Pacific Industrial Company, Founded in 1969 by Erasmo Mosole and
later joined by his sons, Marco and Sandro , is now established as
one of Western Australia’s leading fabrication and construction
organisations, presently combining main office and fabrication
facilities at Naval Base, Western Australia.
Pacific Industrial Company is involved in all aspects of steel
fabrication and construction from shop fabricated items through to
major construction projects including: engineering, procurement,
fabrication, installation, commissioning and related electrical,
instrumentation and civil works.
Although the company’s main clientele are involved in the oil and
gas, mining, resource and industrial sector, Pacific Industrial
Company is actively involved in all forms of fabrication and
construction for a broad customer base.

5. Pacific Industrial Company has a majority shareholding in Como
Engineers. Through this agreement PIC is able to offer its mineral
resource clients a more cost and time efficient execution model through
an EPC contracting arrangement.
Como Engineers Pty Ltd was established in 1986. The core focus is to
provide engineering services and specialist products to the Mining and
Resource sector with a strong focus on process metallurgy, mechanical
engineering and materials handling both in Australia and abroad.
Como Engineers employs a team of experienced metallurgists,
engineers, construction supervisors and drafts-people which enables us
to offer a complete process and engineering service. Como Engineers
are able to supply services from metallurgical testing through to scoping
and definitive feasibility studies as well as detailed engineering design to
project construction and commissioning.
Como Engineers specialises in fit for purpose solutions utilising modular
and transportable equipment in our plant designs. Where possible,
Como Engineers likes to offer design and construct projects at a fixed
duration, lump-sum price, thereby removing a large portion of the
project risk from the client.
Como Engineers works closely with our Clients to understand and deliver
the product and service that is required for each individual project.

Works involved the total onsite construction of the Tankage, Structural,
Mechanical and Piping works for the 5.5 million tonnes per annum gold
process plant located 330klms North of Kalgoorlie W.A.

Works involved the design, fabrication, Installation and surface treatment of
the project tankage for the magnetite iron ore concentrator.

Works involved the Installation of approx. 5000 tonnes of steelwork and
mechanical items for the stockpile cover, conveying and recovery system for
the Magnetite Iron Ore Concentrator. PIC subsidiary business COMO
Engineers was also engaged under separate contracts for installation works
for the Ball Mill and AG Mill equipment and other mechanical works.

hour capacity Bucket Wheel Reclaimers for BHP Billiton Iron Ore. One
machine located at the Jimblebar Mine and 2 machines at the Port Hedland

installation of the coal drying and preparation facility. In addition PIC
fabricated the massive Smelt Reduction Vessel and two Hot Blast Stoves for
the HIsmelt plant located at Kwinana WA.

45. BHPBIO- Yandicoogina Rail Bridge

Works involved the fabrication, assembly and transportation of the 7 rail
truss assemblies for the Yandicoogina Creek bridge located 150 kms north
east of Newman WA. Individual girders fabricated where 3.2 metres deep
and 45 meters long weighing 50 tonnes each and assembled into truss
arrangements weighing 150 tonnes each for transportation and incremental
launching.

47. AMC – Assembly Hall

Value: $5.0 million
Works involved the fabrication and assembly of the mobile assembly hall
located at the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson WA. The building
dimension was 45 metres high, 90 meters long and spanned 90 meters.
Included was also the fabrication and assembly of the 200 tonne capacity
portal crane.

Works involved the structural, mechanical, piping installation, hydrostatic
testing and certification to ASME standard of the Heat Recovery Steam
Generation (HRSG) unit for the 240MW combined cycle gas fired power
station at Kwinana WA. Additional works included the fabrication and
installation of the 60 meter high emission chimney.

Works involved the EPC contract for the materials handling plant for the
151MW coal fired power station located at Singleton NSW. Scope included
the design, civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation
and performance testing requirements using both coal and beneficiated
dewatered tailings as fuels.

Works involved the EPC contract for the grain silo construction at the Globex
Grain Export Terminal located in Melbourne Victoria. Scope included the
design and construction of 4 x 750 tonne, 14 x 1500 tonne capacity elevated
silos and 2 x 12000 tonne capacity flat bottom steel silos for grain storage.
