Confucius once said,” If the language is not clear, what is said is
not what is meant, if what is said is not what is meant, what
should be done remains undone. If what should be done remains
undone, morals and arts will deteriorate. If morals and arts
deteriorate, justice will go astray. If justice goes astray, people
will stand out in helpless confusion”. (Wahab: 35, 1998).
Therefore, it is important for language learners in general to get
clear language and to avoid miscommunication by acquiring and
increasing good working vocabulary. Lack of vocabulary
acquisition will lead to learners` passiveness, miscommunication
and automatically their reading, speaking, listening and writing
skill will be inhibited.
