A. The relational model represents the database as a collection of
relations. Each table resembles a table of views or to some flat file of
records. Eg. A Row, A Column, Table, Domain
Q2. Explain tuple, Domain, attribute with an example
A. Tuple: A row is called tuple.
Attribute: A column header is called attribute.
Relation: Table is called a relation.
Domain: A set of atomic values.
Q3. What are the basic components of relational data models?
A. Relational Model consists of the following basic components
i) a set of domain and a set of relations.
ii)all possible operations on relations.
iii) the various constraints that can be applied.
