0. Introductory sessions – 10th and 17th of May – Attend 10th
1. Project proposal: Maximum 500 words - due Mon 15th May
2. Tuesday/Friday (TF) diary:
T - work done St-T and work planned for W-F
F - work done W-F and work planned for St-T
3. Biweekly report: Brief summary of work due 22 May, 5, 19 Jun, 3 Jul
4. Viva-voce: 1:1 with SRIP coordinators on settling down at campus,
getting started with work
5. Final report: due around the end of the program. Necessary in order to
receive the certificate of participation.
6. Poster presentation: All are strongly encouraged. Necessary for IIT
Gandhinagar participants in order to receive the certificate.
7. Other activities: All are encouraged to participate in all SRIP activities.

SRIP Lecture
Welcome to Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN)!
As a participant in this year’s summer research internship, we
hope you will have a rewarding and enriching experience. The
program is aimed at exposing students from premier research
institutes across the country to innovative and cutting-edge
research at IITGN. We sincerely hope your experience here brings
IITGN closer to your home institutions.
While you are busy working on research projects with your faculty
supervisors, we would encourage you to take some time and meet
other faculty and students. Such interactions could provide you
with valuable insights into career choices and decisions. IITGN is a
