3. We are two professional photographers, united by friendship & a deep seeded passion for adventure,
who met at the Prestigious Light & Life Academy.
Ashish Sharma, a nature & adventure lover struck love
with photography four years ago when left his well
established career to pursue his passion.
He loves mountains, he has done many treks / climbs in
Himalayas. Last year he did Manali-Leh cycle trip with an
international team during which he came up with the idea
of this movie.
His work has been honored by National Geographic,
Better Photography Magazine, Delhi University etc.

Aditya Puri, a photographer by passion & profession has
always found solace in adventure, exploration and being
on the move.
He has motor-cycled solo 17000 kms all across India, is a
trained mountaineer. He has climbed and trekked in
Himalayas and independently summitted four 6000M
peaks.
His work has been featured in leading architectural
magazines in India, Srilanka andThailand.

5. We love nature and want to share its beauty with
the world. We feel nearer to nature by challenging
ourselves to explore it in a purer way, hence cycle.
Manali-Leh-Khardungla is probably one of the world’s
most scenic and also one of the most treacherous roads
in the world. Going through 5 high altitude passes, very
tough roads, moon like landscapes, snow covered
Himalayas all around, gut melting ascents and the thin air
makes it an extremely demanding but rewarding journey.
We are going to cover this journey self-supported,
carrying everything we need on our cycles. It would be
physically draining & mentally daunting but then that’s
what we would love to do and we have prepared for.
We aim to document this journey in the most creative,
natural yet professional way so as to showcase the
breathtaking beauty to the world . Hopefully this
documentary will help people experience why we feel so
close to the mountains.
