This document presents both sides of the debate around the mobile movement and increasing use of mobile devices. It questions whether mobile technology empowers users or distracts and controls them. While mobile devices increase access to information and ability to stay connected, they may also overstimulate children, deprive users of human contact, and allow constant monitoring by advertisers, exes, government and corporations. The document was created using a mobile device, showing how they enable productivity but may also foster addiction or a "me generation" mindset.
