The document describes the Action for Happiness course, an 8-week course that aims to explore what really matters for a happy life through tuning in to personal priorities, connecting with others, and taking action. It discusses how the course helps drive cultural change by combining personal transformation, wide reach, and behavioral nudges. Evaluation of the course found that it significantly increases participants' well-being and life satisfaction compared to a control group, with benefits maintained over time.

9. The course uses a “donation of your choice” delivery model
Donation of your choice (recommended £90)
Everyone is welcome. Although the course is valued at £90, if you
can only afford a bit less (e.g. £70) that's ok. And if you're struggling
right now, feel free to give whatever you can (e.g. £10). Give more if
you love what we're doing and want to help others!

14. Taking part can be life-changing
“The course was life-changing for me and lots of the others too.
We made new friendships and took positive actions in our lives
based on what we discussed. We have continued to stay in
touch, meet up and support each other. One lady I met has
actually become my best friend!
Last weekend we got together for the launch of a new local
Community Centre which lots of us had been working on. It's so
great to feel part of something meaningful and to be connected
to others near where I live. I am so much happier and none of
this would have happened without that course.”
