María Paula Garzón 9b <br />Inception Microessay<br />Mr.Cobb and his team were hired by Saito, a wealthy man owner of many companies, for designing a plan which consisted in entering the unconscious mind of Mr.Fischer, the heir of the biggest company which was the competition of Saito´s company, for making an inception into a dream which consisted in originating the idea that he had to divide his father´s empire, so that Saito´s company got all the power and control over the international companies. Mr. Cobb and his team create a dream of 3 levels and each one of them was planned very carefully the problem was that the dead wife of Mr. Cobb, Mal, always appears in an unexpected way on the dreams and ruins them, finally they had to enter into a fourth level in which they had to find Saito who get lost because of a shot he received on his chest and Ariadne kills Mal, at the end they accomplish their work and everyone wake up.<br />In the future it would be possible to make an inception into a dream, because many researchers like the Advanced Telecommunications Research (ATR) had advanced in the knowledge of dreams, they invest money in different projects that help them to know more about our unconscious mind, one example is the fMRI which is a functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging that scans and make a model of the person´s visual system. In the future the science would be very advanced and we are going to create a way of originating an idea into someone’s mind.<br />In the future there is not going to be possible to make an inception in a dream because is impossible to enter into someone´s mind and to deposit an idea that is not from this person, it would be like a virus that enters into the immunological system, the idea would be discovered as an intruder and eliminated. It is impossible to make inception into other person mind because it could change radically that person´s life. The brain is made up of: the frontal lobe associated with reasoning, planning, parts of speech, movement, emotions, and problem solving, the parietal lobe- associated with movement, orientation, recognition, perception of stimuli, the occipital lobe- associated with visual processing and the temporal lobe- associated with perception and recognition of auditory stimuli, memory, and speech; making an inception would have to be made in all of the lobes because each one of them is an essential part of our understanding, so it would be very difficult to make all the lobes understand the same idea and to accept it, it is very different the way we perceive through visual than from audition. The same would happen with the nervous system, when we are sleep the neurons work more slowly than when we are wake up so the information as an idea would arrive very slow to the brain.<br />In the future we are going to be able to make an inception into a dream, because science is obtaining more and more knowledge and positive results from its investigations and we are going to find new methods for making inception, one example of this is a method called fMRI which is a functional magnetic resonance imaging scan of a person´s brain that shows a model of the person´s visual system, in some years this method could be used for reproduce the images of the dreams from a person´s brain so we could see what the person is dreaming, another example is a method called hypnosis, it is used for making people to fall into a state in which they can go deep into their unconscious mind and discover new thoughts, the hypnosis could be used between many people and maybe in the future we can use hypnosis as a way for implanting an idea into a person´s mind, we are going to be mentally stronger and we are going to realize many things we can´t do now, other example is the way publicitary announcements are presented to us nowadays, these publicitary announcements have special ways of presenting the information, the human brain receives more easily information with certain colors and with hidden messages maybe we can develop a may of implanting an idea into someone´s head through publicities. <br /> <br />
