Ace was started in 1968 by Reg Lammers and has run continuously
since. Now his sons Larry and Dan run the company.

provide documentation?
Ace is fully licensed with the
US Department of
Transportation (DOT) and the
Federal Motor Coach Safety
Administration (FMCSA)
license #1052359 and carry
$1 million of liability
insurance with $5 million
liability umbrella coverage
per occurance.

7. 4. What types of moving estimates do you offer?
Depending on what’s better for the customer and the
situation, we offer either “Binding” , “Bottom-line
Discount” or “Assured Price Protect”.
We will never hold your belongings hostage due to
charges we added at the last minute like some moving
companies will.
Note: a reputable moving company will and must come to your
home to do a survey – do not accept an over-the-phone estimate.

8. 5. How do you charge for moves?
Interstate (across state lines) and long-distance
intrastate moves are calculated using the weight of
your belongings and the distance they are traveling.
Some additional charges may exist for extra trucks,
crews, special needs or if storage is required. Local
moves (within about 50 miles) are calculated by the
number of men and trucks multiplied by the number of
hours it’s going to take to complete the move.

anyone who doesn’t.

12. 9. What is your claims process?
If anything were to happen we would work with you
to ensure you are fully compensated to the degree of
your coverage and our liability. If your move is over
state lines then Atlas Van Lines would handle your
claim but Ace Relocation Systems would be involved.
Ace’s packing claims liability ratio is a very low 1.6%
and cargo claims liability ratio of 2.36%
($16.00 per $1000 of all packing revenue and $23.60 per $1000 of all interstate hauling
revenue.)

13. 10. When will my shipment arrive?
This is the trickiest question of them all.
It depends on many factors including:
•Availability of trucks, drivers and crews
•Time of year
•Distance
•Size of the shipment
First we will give you a delivery window
based on the Transit Guide, your needs
and the above factors. We will keep you
informed of the exact date as it draws
closer, and you will be contacted 24 hrs
prior to the delivery date.

including regular drug testing

15. There are such things as “rogue movers”, they’re very bad.
How to spot them:
1. Won’t come out to your home to do an inspection; will only do it over
the phone
2. Asks for large deposits before the move
3. Won’t give you a copy of “Your rights and responsibilities when you
move” document
4. Doesn’t have a local facility with trucks (be careful, they can have an
address that is just a P box)

5. Doesn’t have the proper local and federal licensing
6. Offers “blanket insurance” (and not true moving industry “valuation”)
7. Get recordings when you call during normal business hours
8. Won’t let you come visit their location
9. Use trucks that don’t have their company name on them
