Notas do Editor

  1. Your slides should play a supporting role to your presentation. Keep them simple to be used as supplement to enhance what you have to say.
  2. With bullet points, LESS is MORE.
  3. Using excessive transitions and effects is distracting and annoying, which defeats the purpose of the roles slides should play in a presentation. Keep transitions to a minimum, and only use smiple effects that keep your presentation professional.
  4. Images are meant to enhance your presentation, so do not skimp on quality.
  5. While your theme should be understandable and consistent, avoid the default templates. Be creative, the theme should help capture your audience’s interest.
  6. A chart is an easy way to show your audience a visual representation of data, which can help get data across in a quicker and easier way to understand.
  7. Be selective on color choices; be aware of which colors evoke what emotions, and choose what color scheme is most appropraite for your slide or overall presenation.
  8. Font should be easy to read.
  9. Visual and audio aid can help get your message across in another manner, helping your audience better understand your information.
  10. Organize and divide up slides in a logical, easy to understand manner. This will result in a clear and more professional looking presentation.
