Bible). This here is a perfect picture of unconditional love. And indeed, no man has ever done this
without expecting something in return. Only one person has ever done this. And He is the author of
A Course In Miracles, Jesus.
If you have heard about a course in miracles and would like to learn more, you can attend classes at
several of the Unity Churches along the Treasure and Space Coast. A Course in Miracles was written
in the 70's by a woman named Helen Schucman. Helen was working at Columbia University's
College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. She was anything but spiritual and was a self
described atheist. She and her department head, Bill Thetford were experiencing a tumultuous and
strained working environment on a daily basis. One day Bill announced that he was tired of their
"angry and aggressive attitudes" and what they reflected and that "there must be a better way".
Helen agreed to help him and their journey with the Course began.
The second part of the lesson deals with healing and anger. There is no actual healing being taught,
only the denial of what is real. You can't change the past simply by deciding to see things differently,
which is what is being asked of the students in this course. There is nothing here except the idea of
escape from wrongs we have done and wrongs that have been done to us. In fact, it is even implied
