project or not.

1. Never try to compare yourself to other
communities….that’s the consultants job.
2. Be the first to advise of bad news or
problems….far better to have the consultant
learn of these things from you than discover
them later.
3. Never be afraid to guide the consultant to help
them achieve the best results….they don’t
always know how to achieve what is best for
their client.
Tips from Kenny…
1. Understand the consultant's business (goals
and constraints).
2. Help the consultant achieve his/her short
and long term objectives.
3. Bottom line - add value to them before,
during, and after projects. Relationships
matter.
