 IN A RECENT DAY THERE ARE MANY
    ACCIDENT HAPPEN .
 THIS PRESENTATION IS ABOUT TO
    REDUCE ACCIDENT.
 USING LATEST BRAKE SYSTEM ANTILOCK
    BAKING SYSTEM
 Anti-lock braking system (ABS) is an automobile
safety system that allows the wheels on a motor
vehicle to maintain attractive contact with the
road surface according to driver inputs
 braking with abs preventing the wheels from
locking up (ceasing rotation) and avoiding
    uncontrolled skidding.
 It is an automated system that uses the principles
of threshold braking and cadence braking which
were practiced by skillful drivers with previous
generation braking systems. It does this at a
much faster rate and with better control than a
    driver could manage.
 There are four main components to an
  ABS system:
 Speed sensors
 Pump
 Valves
 Controller
SAFETY ELEMENT
 The biggest difference between ABS brakes
and regular brakes is that ABS brakes should
    not be pumped.
 Regular brakes are pumped on hard stops to
prevent the wheels from locking and sending
    the car into a skid.
 ABS pump the brakes automatically to prevent
skidding and pumping the brake system on an
ABS system can badly damage the brakes.
 There is normally a warning light in the
dashboard that will tell you if there is a problem
with the ABS. If the light comes on, take the car
    to a service station immediately.
 The theory behind anti-lock brakes is simple.
A skidding wheel (where the tire contact patch is
sliding relative to the road) has less traction than a
    non-skidding wheel.
 If you have been stuck on ice, you know that if
your wheels are spinning you have no traction.
 This is because the contact patch is sliding relative
    to the ice.
 By keeping the wheels from skidding while you
slow down, anti-lock brakes benefit you in two
ways: You'll stop faster, and you'll be able
    to steer while you stop.
 Most anti-lock brake systems are designed
to switch off if any of the components fail.
 There are rare instances when a valve will
stick open, but the brakes will usually
  continue to work normally.
 If the pedal doesn't fade or sink, that
typically means the vehicle is safe to drive.
 You will have to pump the brakes if you find
yourself in a panic stop situation, so it's
crucial to remain vigilant if your ABS quits
  working.
 The advantages of ABS brakes (anti-lock braking system), are just
as the meaning of their acronym implies, they eliminate or greatly
reduce the possibility of brake lock up and therefore provide a
better chance of steering out of trouble.
 ABS brakes were designed to combat the problem of tire lock up
and uncontrolled spins. Since brakes are most effective at slowing
the car at a point just before wheel lock up, a system that provides
for wheel braking while preventing wheel lock up is very
    desirable.
 Use of ABS is simple you mash the brake pedal and the computer
takes over. No matter what the surface, ABS adapts to it. Even
professional race car drivers cannot adapt as quickly as a
computer to changing surfaces. Most of those who live in the
snowier regions know what patchy snow can be like.
 Steer ability of the vehicle is very well maintained.
 Disadvantages:

 Stop Times - Anti-lock brakes are made to provide
for surer braking in slippery conditions.
 Delicate Systems - It's easy to cause a problem in
an ABS system by messing around with the brakes.
 Cost - ABS systems require significantly more
parts than a traditional braking system.
 System damage - A variety of factors can cause the
    system INEFFECTIVE
 Additional systems have been developed that enhance the
benefits of the basic ABS. One of these systems is automatic
    traction control, called ATC.
 ATC uses the same components as ABS, but works at the
other end of the speed spectrum—getting a vehicle started
    under slippery conditions.
 In operation, it senses each wheel's speed to detect when
one or more wheels "break loose" and start to spin.
 When that happens, it applies the brake on that wheel 12 to
15 times per second to let it slow down and regain traction.
In demonstrations, vehicles have been held by blocks on an
    ice-covered grade.
 When the vehicles start and the blocks are pulled away, the
vehicle without ATC spins its wheels and slowly slides
backwards down the grade, while the ATC-equipped
vehicle pulls its way up the ice.
 Abs system work effectively even on rainy day
snowy and other because it keep the tyre traction
stay aligned on the road . when using ABS system
a car will stay on the road even the surface of the
    road is wet.
 Mainly ABS system has been introduce in
Malaysian car such as gen2, persona , inspira and
latest model preve. The significant of these model
using an abs system make a different level on it
safety than the older model. You absolutely should
not pump the brake pedal in a car with ABS
