2. Excellence in operations is the way of life at the Indian automobile major, Tata Motors Ltd. The company is very keen to set new benchmarks in productivity, evaluate the performance against the same and exercise meticulous control.

4. Different self directed teams formed within the company implement the model in their respective work areas and present the same in competition. The presentation describes one such annual competition for SDT/SGA at Tata Motors, Pimpri. It was my honour to be associated as one of the judges.
