Is the director of communications for a non-profit Citizen Schools.
3. Thesis: What we put in our Netflix que affects how our next generation is going to treat the world.
4. Colin explains in his talk “How Movies Teach Manhood “ how movies affect children.
Colin shows man good examples of this through his own children and also examples of other children. He caught the audiences
attention by bringing up children and how important they are.
5. Colin showed that his son (a child) was affected from just a small
glimpse of star wars. He said that his son would dress up in star wars
cloths and want to chop things up.
6. In this speech Colin talks about how 1 out of every 5 women are sexually
assaulted in there life. He blames this on how film and the media does not
help with showing how to deal with women in real life as a male.

This was a hard subject to
speak about but. He did do a
good job AND, He kept
within the Ted
Commandments.
He best followed the 9th
commandment. He seem to
have his speech memorized
and heart driven.

I would give Colin a 3.5/5
The reason being because his presentation
was well done. But he did not seem to
capture his audience through body language
or comedic relief.

He more focused on his story telling and personal
Experiences then visual pleasures.

I can recommend to my classmates and my
peers many things.
• Move around while talking.
