Demi Lovato began her career with performances on shows like the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving special and on the children's TV show "Barney and Friends". She landed her breakout role on the Disney Channel show "Camp Rock" and went on to star in several Disney Channel movies. Lovato also found success in her music career, releasing albums like "Don't Forget" in 2008 and "Here We Go Again" in 2009. However, she reportedly required treatment for emotional and physical issues following an altercation on tour, but recovered and released more albums including "Unbroken" in 2011 and "Demi" in 2013.
2. Early years
Demi Lovato, born in Albuquerque August 20th 1992, has
played various different roles for different companies over
her youthful life. Demi also had family in the music industry,
like her mother Dianna Lovato for an instance, who sung
country music and was a Dallas cowboy cheerleader.
Her career initiated from performances in famous venues
such as the Dallas cowboy thanksgiving show and Eismann
centre. Soon after she took up a role to regularly appear on a
popular child’s TV show called “Barney and friends”,
followed by guest starring on “Just Jordon” and “Prison
break”.
3. Disney career
Demi’s first role on Disney channel as an actress on “A the bell rings”
ended after a short period of time. She then stepped up to the leading
role of a movie named “Camp rock” as Mitchie Torres. During the
filming of “Camp rock”, Demi collaborated with the pop group “The
Jonas brothers” and recorded three songs.
Demi acquired the nomination of her song, “That’s how you know”
from “Enchanted”, in the Academy Award in the year 2008.
Subsequently in 2008, Demi starred in her second Disney Original
Movie, “Princess Protection Programme”, with her former good
friend Selena Gomez.

Demi then enacted the leading role of her own Disney
Channel TV show called “Sonny with a chance”. The
programme appeared in 2009, which succeeded to become one
of the Channel’s most viewed series labelling Demi as an
eminent star in the Disney industry. The programme ran for
two years in which it kept progressing.
5. Music career
Demi released her debut album on September 23rd, 2008, called
“Don’t forget”. In that album a considerable amount of songs
were co-written by the “Jonas Brothers”. The album achieved
an impressive No.2 position on the “Billboard 200” chart. In
promotion of her album, Demi performed as an opening act in
the Jona Brother’s Burning Up Tour.
In2009, Demi issued another studio album, here we go again,
which lead to another tour with the Jonas brothers. Demi and
Joe Jonas were romantically linked, which is most probably why
she had a tendency of touring with the Jonas Brothers quite
frequently.
