• Lung Cancer is the most
common and deadliest type
of all the cancers that both
genders get it .
• Almost 220,000 people are
diagnosed with it each year.
• When you smoke or breath
in any dangerous chemical
daily, it clogs the lung and
affects your breathing.

• Starts off as a error in a
cells DNA.
• Also if you smoke, expose
to radon gas, things that
carry chemicals like paint or
even if you smell the smoke
of a cigarette daily you can
get lung cancer.

can involve:
• Surgical removal
• Chemotherapy
• Radiation Therapy
• It can also be a
combination of the
treatments, it all depends
on each individual and
the location of the tumor.

• There's no sure way to prevent
lung cancer, you can reduce your
risk if you:
•
Don't smoke. Stop smoking
Avoid secondhand smoke. Eat a
diet full of fruits and vegetables.

• Shortness of breath
• Chronic cough
• Pain or aching when coughing
or breathing
• Coughing up blood
• Difficulty swallowing
