What are we Planning
The company currently service thousands of users at various clients who make use of our existing
solutions, and we need our local team to maintain these solutions on a day to day basis. We
customise and build new solutions in-house and we own all of our own software, and we would
require the Senior dev / CTO to lead this team in the building and customisation process as well as
supporting the maintenance function.
The company is also in the early (planning) stages of a huge new build with an international team of
developers and we would require the Senior dev to manage this process as the product owner in a
SCRUM process.
We are hoping that this Senior Dev / CTO will also be able to become involved in meetings with
stakeholders to provide technical input and guidance for new and existing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide architectural input into Roadmaps/Blueprints
• Confidently lead discussions on the direction of the business.
• Interact with senior stakeholders.
• Design solution models to meet business objectives.
• Work with a team of developers both local and international.
• Leading dev teams and working with project delivery leads

The Right Candidate should also
• Be competent writing technical documentation and working in a team environment.
• Have a good understanding of PHP frameworks like Laravel or Lumen / zend /symfony
codeigniter
• Have a good understanding of Front end frameworks like, Angular, Vue.js
• Have a good understanding of Database architecture like, Myqsql, Cloud Sql, Firebase.
• Have experience building web applications using micro-services working with rest API's
• Be proficient in *nix based systems and web based application development
• Be fluent in programming design patterns and OOP want to help evolve complex enterprise
management systems while being responsible for, and utilizing the latest industry standard
container management systems to help scale and automate the full lifecycle of our software on a
resilient infrastructure.
• become a champion of our infrastructure and utilize emerging industry standards to scale our
software.
• assist with the upgrade of our existing in-house software packages that assist with managing and
reporting across all areas of the business.
• Be able to help design and build tools that can assist with the monitoring, testing and maintenance
of our latest software and its underlying infrastructure.
• assist with the maintenance and upgrading of mature software platforms that power all of our
solutions.
• assist with typical software development where available development capacity is not sufficient.
• assist with the automation of our evolving Unit Tests + Regression Tests + Frontend Tests
(Selenium) that our QA assist with.
• assist with the development/utilization of systems that can keep workflows and Shipping of new
products on track, ensuring that they pass quality and unit tests.

Docker, Propel, Composer, NPM/Yarn
● Extensive and in-depth knowledge on scaling, using platforms like Docker as an
example
● Experience with Kubernetes
● Experience in the Banking Tech Space
