13. Mai Hossam is Yomken.com’s Funding and Innovation Manager. She holds a Bachelor
degree in International law and preparing an MBA with Commercial Law Specialization.
Previously, she has worked in International organization working with Social and
Business Entrepreneurship. Mai has worked in youth and business development for 5
years through different initiatives and activities as well supporting SMES start/develop
their own business.She is so passionate about social entrepreneurship, social-business
ventures and synergies between social and business sectors in search of alternative
solutions for challenges facing entrepreneurship society as a whole.
Mai believes that Egypt’s progress will come through entrepreneurship and innovators.
This is motivating her to continue working with Innovators and Entrepreneurs.
Basem Mosallam is the Content and Community Manager at Yomken.com. He is
responsible of its marketing, social media management, content creation and visual
content direction. Basem is passionate about Internet and web technologies which
create positive impact to society. He has 9 years in dealing with internet applications and
utilizing them. He also worked as a freelance graphic designer for 6 years. Besides his
work with Yomken, Basem involve in two social initiatives, almost of them are tackling
internet literacy (such as: Internet Life and the World E-Business Initiative “WEBI”) and
co-founded shefa’ initiative for first aid literacy. Basem studied Business Administration
at Ain Shams University and he is passionate to discover synergies between ICT,
Innovation, Social Business and how can this contribute in the development.
