Academic Projects
Nail attractor robot
Description: The main function of the robot is to keep the floor free of nail and other metal things. The
robot have 2 motors, line sensor, ultrasonic sensor, infrared red sensor, RF receiver and transmitter. The
robot have 3 different movement mode, there are line follower, obstacle avoider and remote control. The
movement of the robot is switch by remote control. For the line follower mode, the robot moving by
following the line on the floor. For the obstacle avoider mode, the robot is straight until it sense the
obstacle in front at a certain distance will make a turn to avoid the obstacle. Furthermore, the robot can
be remote by using controller.
Keypad lock system
Description: The keypad lock system is running by using microcontroller 8051. The keypad lock system
have the features of set-able pin, set-able time, infrared red sensor to sense who break in the door then
activate the alarm, and the time of break in the door will be send to the computer via serial
communication and recorded. The interrupts have been used for this project are external interrupt, timing
interrupt and serial interrupt.
4. Traffic light system
Description: The T-junction traffic light system is designed by using Altera Quartus II. The traffic light
system has the countdown 7 segment display for red light and green light of each of the traffic light. This
designed is using the method of FSM and design the gate level circuit by using Altera Quartus II. Then, the
software is simulated by Altera DE2 board.
Water level control system
Description: The water level control system is running by using microprocessor 8085. This project is using
water level sensor to sense the water in the tank and stop the water pump to pumping motor when the
tank is full. The water pump is DIY by using toy’s DC motor and some plastic materials.
D flipflop
Description: The D flip flop IC is designed with drawing the schematic, stimulation the testbench, run eldo
to view the waveform and the layout is drawn follow the rules and check by run DRC and LVS to make sure
that is no error.
Final Year Project
Biomedical Signal analyzer using LabVIEW
Description: In this project, an algorithm that can interpret the ECG signal is developed by using LabVIEW.
The aim of this project is to allow all the public to detect their early stage of critical disease at their home.
So, the patient can visit the doctor once the early stage of disease is detected before the disease is going
to serious and difficult to be cured. By this algorithm, many lives of this world can be saved.
