Our faculty guide Hetal Joshi
Guide has explained as all about design engineering and also helped us in our project a
lot.
1.1. DesignEngineering
Design Engineering is a general term that covers multiple engineering disciplines
including electrical, mechanical, chemical engineer, aeronautical engineer, civil,
Computer Engineering, Information Technology and structural/building/architectural
engineers. The uniting concept is a focus on applying the 'engineering design process,
in which engineers develop new products or processes with a primary emphasis on
functional utility.
While industrial designers may be responsible for the conceptual aesthetic and
ergonomic aspects of a design, the design engineer usually works with a team of
engineers and other designers to develop conceptual and detailed designs. He may
work with industrial designers and marketers to develop the product concept and
specifications, and may direct the design effort
Thinking Procedure:
o Find our goal
o Evaluation of goal
o Generate proposals
o Evaluation of proposals
o Improvements
2. Story Boarding Canvas
Understanding the problem of society is one of the biggest challenges for engineering
student as till now they were making project on imaginary ideas. So the day 1 session
was based on understanding the domains of the problem in broader sense which
4 | P a g e
emphasized on interacting with the people of your domain area which included more
of casual talk rather than technical session. And this is the story boarding canvas.
Here we would like to explain the aspects of this canvas by our project which use of
solar engery.
As we know that, many crowd places like Garage, Industry, High ways or etc. have
very big issue related with the tire because sometimes they have not much electricity
2.1. Users:

Mistry Hardik From: Baroda 5.Patel Kalpak From: Baroda Our faculty guide Hetal Joshi Guide has explained as all about design engineering and also helped us in our project a lot. 1.1. DesignEngineering Design Engineering is a general term that covers multiple engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, chemical engineer, aeronautical engineer, civil, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and structural/building/architectural engineers. The uniting concept is a focus on applying the 'engineering design process, in which engineers develop new products or processes with a primary emphasis on functional utility. While industrial designers may be responsible for the conceptual aesthetic and ergonomic aspects of a design, the design engineer usually works with a team of engineers and other designers to develop conceptual and detailed designs. He may work with industrial designers and marketers to develop the product concept and specifications, and may direct the design effort Thinking Procedure: o Find our goal o Evaluation of goal o Generate proposals o Evaluation of proposals o Improvements 2. Story Boarding Canvas Understanding the problem of society is one of the biggest challenges for engineering student as till now they were making project on imaginary ideas. So the day 1 session was based on understanding the domains of the problem in broader sense which
  • 4. 4 | P a g e emphasized on interacting with the people of your domain area which included more of casual talk rather than technical session. And this is the story boarding canvas. Here we would like to explain the aspects of this canvas by our project which use of solar engery. As we know that, many crowd places like Garage, Industry, High ways or etc. have very big issue related with the tire because sometimes they have not much electricity 2.1.
