2. INTRODUCTION
Alhamdulillah author prayed to ALLAH SWT who has given
strength and patience to the author so that it can complete the task papers
of subjects ENGLISH.
Making this task aims to fulfill one of the requirements
assessment ENGLISH courses in one semester.
The authors recognize there are still many shortcomings in
penyususan and writing at the completion of the task of this paper, the
authors expect to criticism and advice from mentors.
The author hopes that the completion of this task can be useful for all of
us, especially for students in order to understand the meaning of
“Juvenile Delinquency”.
Do not forget to thank the author Lecturer ENGLISH course
tutors and parents who have supported so as to completion of this task.
So I write this preface, criticism and constructive feedback to the authors
expect perfection task of this paper.

3. The Preface
The background
Adolescence is often known as the period of rebellion. In this
period, a child who has reached puberty often display a variety of
emotions, withdrawing from the family, as well as having a lot of
problems, either at home, school or in the neighborhood friendships.
Juvenile delinquency in the modern era has exceeded reasonable
limits. Many minors who are familiar Smoking, Drugs, Freesex, and
involved many other criminal acts. This fact can no longer diungkuri,
you can see the brutality of today's teenagers. The increasing crime rate
in Indonesia is not only done by adults, but many of the teenagers. Act of
juvenile delinquency is very diverse and varied and more limited than
adult crime. Also motivate teenagers often simpler and easier to
understand for example: theft committed by of a teenager, just to give
gifts to those he loved in order to make a good impression impressive or
admirable.
As a result, the behavior of parents complained that their children
can not be regulated, and sometimes act against them. Family conflicts,
mood swings, depression and the emergence of sustenance behavior is
very common in adolescence than at other times throughout the life span.
Based on the above, the conclusion that can be taken of the
characteristics of adolescence is an important period, a period of change,
transition, age problems, the search for identity, age raises fears,
unrealistic time period and the threshold of maturity.

Juvenile Delinquency
Juvenile delinquency encompasses all behaviors that deviate from
the norms of criminal law committed by juveniles. Such behavior will
harm himself and the people around him.
Adolescents were those aged 13-18 years old. At this age, a person
has exceeded childhood, however is still not mature enough to be able to
be said mature. He was in the transistor.
Social change can generally be defined as a process a shift or
change in the structure or order in the community, including a more
innovative mindset, attitudes, and social life for a more dignified life.
Basically every society on the face of this earth in his life can certainly
be experienced periods perubaan in thought patterns.
The causes of juvenile delinquency
Behavior of 'naughty' teen could be caused by a factor of
adolescents themselves (internal) and outside factors (external).
Internal factors:
1. The Identity Crisis: biological and sociological changes in the
adolescent self allows the two forms of integration. Firstly, the
formation of a sense of consistency in his life. Second, the role of
identity achievement. Delinquency Tenagers occur because teens
fail to achieve the integration of the two.
2. Weak self-control: Teenagers who can not learn and distinguish
behavior that is acceptable to unacceptable behavior will be

control to act in accordance with his knowledge.
External factors:
1. Family and Divorce parents, lack of communication between
family members, or disputes between family members can lead
to negative behaviors in adolescents. Education was wrong in
the family, such as over-indulge the child, does not provide
religious education, or denial of the existence of the child, can
be a cause of juvenile delinquency.

Adolescence is a time of very beautiful. So many people vote. But
in the world of psychology adolescence is a period filled with problems
and stressful so often experience stress.
Development Stages of Adolescents every human being must will
through teenage years. It is based on the association of the neighborhood
teens.
Teenager developmental would be good if they are in the right
neighborhood for example gets affection in accordance with
developments of our early childhood age to be teenagers.
Teenager developmental would be bad if they were not
appropriate in the environment for example of a teenager staying in a
family environment that a lot of problems between his parents or
siblings.
Currently, almost countless how many of teenagers do negative
things. Even, the impact of juvenile delinquency, a lot of the losses
incurred, located for both adolescents themselves nor those on around
them. Teenagers are the a child is that could be considered to be at the
age of responsibility, they are not a child who does not understand
anything.

6. Characteristics of adolescent the psychological development is the
presence of explosive emotion, difficult to control, rapid depression (sad,
hopelessness) and then fight and rebelled. This uncontrollable emotions
caused by the role conflict experienced by teenagers happy. Therefore, it
is emphasized in the of psychological development teenagersthe
emotional state of.
The state of emotion in adolescence is still unstable because
closely with hormonal state. A very sad when teenagers can be, at other
times can be upset. teenagers emotions stronger and more self-master the
than thought realistic. teenagers emotional stability due to the demands
of parents and the community which ultimately encourages teenagers to
adjust to of her new situation.
With of psychological development in adolescents, occurring
mental strength, improved power capability thought, the ability to
remember and understand, as well as an increase courage in expressing
their opinions.
Behavior of displayed can vary, ranging from mild delinquency
as skipping school, breaking school rules, violating the curfew that
parents provide, to severe delinquency such as vandalism, fights between
gangs, use drugs, and so on.
The things that can be done
1. Failure to achieve the role of identity and a lack of self-control can
be prevented or overcome by the principles of exemplary.
Teenagers should be able to get as many people figure that has
mature well beyond the teenage years as well as those who managed
to repair themselves after failing at this stage.
2. The motivation of the family, teachers, peers to do the first point.

so as to create a harmonious family, communicative, and convenient
for teens.
4. Adolescents are good at choosing friends and good environment as
well as provide guidance to parents in the community who and
where young people have to get along.

out peers or community that is not in line with expectations.

Conclusion
Based on the results after I studied can be concluded:
That many in today's "juvenile delinquency" was due to the lack of
attention from both parents or in the family was less harmonious, while
the son is not very good, so that the child will be affected by things that
are negative because the child is still unstable way berfikirnya and not
strong in the faith.
Suggestion
My advice should parents be more concerned with more
children not to do things that are not in want, the better the child in
juruskan all good things come pesantren for example, knowing who their
peers, must understand what tuh environment, and parents also need to
be able to be a friend to vent.
