2. Xplore Salsa was started in April, 2004 by Ravi Akhade . Along with his Indian Bollywood and Western dance, his salsa moves were highly appreciated... with one branch and 15 students… over the years he has progressed to 8 branches Xplore Salsa’s basket of Experience has students, corporate events ,choreography, workshops, performances, social salsa dancing at clubs etc, has done regional films, serials in channels like Zee, Star Plus, Sony TV. & Sahara One.

Ravi Akhade a young man dancing since a very young age, his Journey………….. 1998 - 2001 Was a part of Dolls Delite Dance Company where he started instructing and training at a very young age, besides doing stage shows for this organization 2001- 2006 In these years he formed a company known as Creations where he participated and performed for various cultural festivals in different colleges and did stages shows. His forte at this time was BOLLYWOOD ,HIP HOP and other western dance forms Realizing his potential he decided to join classes to be trained in Salsa, and then there was no end to it. In 2006 he started his very own first salsa classes in Andheri East at Sher Punjab with 38 students.

4. Xplore Dance Company (XDC) very soon got the opportunity to work with the Television Industry Ravi Akhade Coreographed dances for tele serials like 2006-2007 - Sujata 2007- 2008 - Bidai on Sony TV - Sa Re Ga Ma on Zee TV - 4 months To add on to the experience XDC also choreographed for 16 private albums

5. Ravi Akhade and his company XDC gained name and fame at the very earlier stage. He was called to choreographed and handle annual event of Corporate Companies 2006- 2008 Orchid Hotel learnt of XDC and appointed him as their official choreographer for 2 yrs and also gave the responsibility to handle the entire event, which included everything from choreography to production 2006-2009 JP Morgan appointed XDC to handle their annual event for 3 consecutive years Besides these XDC did annual event for Corporate events like Expidetres, Kamino Logistic and ASK.

8. Very soon after the success of XDC, it decided to have its own Salsa / dance parties at different places like…… Shimmer (Malad) Banana Bar (Bandra) MTC (Bandra) Flamboyate Bombay 72’o East (Juhu) Play (Lower Parel) H2O (Bandra) Vie Lounge (Andheri)

9. November 2009 was the year of a great leap for XDC XDC for the first time organized the most awaited MUMBAI SALSA FESTIVAL “ Salsa Fiesta – Dance Fest “ For the first time ever the top instructors of Bombay came under one roof to teach , Enjoy , dance with the students. The Salsa Fiesta was a dance fest which brought different western dance forms under one including jive, hip hop, contemporary and many more. XDC INITIATIVE
