1. Ο προφήτης Μουχάμμαντ είπε: « Ο πιστός είναι σαν καθρέφτης για τον άλλο πιστό ( στην ειλικρίνεια). Σαν τον καθρέφτη ο φίλος σου δίνει μιά πραγματική εικόνα. Σου συγχωρεί τα λάθη και δεν κρύβει η υπερβάλει όσον αφορά τις δυνατότητες σου η τις αδυναμίες σου. Friendship in Islam Φιλίες Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) stated, "The believer is like a mirror to other believers (in truthfulness).«Like a mirror, your friend gives you an honest image. He forgives your mistakes,but does not hide or exaggerate your strengths and weaknesses.

7. "In time of distress a man can distinguished between his friend and enemy." « Σε ώρες ανάγκης κάποιος μπορεί να διακρίνει μεταξύ φίλου και εχθρού»

8. "It is better to listen to a wise enemy than to seek counsel from a foolish friend." « Είναι καλύτερα να ακούσεις ένα λογικό εχθρό σου παρά έναν ανόητο φίλο σου.»

9. "Befriend people in the same manner you would like them to befriend you." «Να είσαι φίλος στον κόσμο με τον ίδιο τρόπο που θέλεις να είναι φίλοι σε εσένα.»

10. "If a friend envies you, then he is not a true friend." « Εάν ένας φίλος σε ζηλεύει δεν είναι πραγματικός φίλος»

11. "He who is deserted by friends and relatives will often find help and sympathy from strangers." « Αυτός που το εγκαταλείπουν οι φίλοι και οι συγγενείς συχνά βρίσκει βοήθεια και συμπάθεια σε ξένους.
