In my daily life I work with a team responsible for the the digital library at VU University, Amsterdam. In addition to that, I am a blogger, tweep and social media strategist who is passionate about the opportunities of new media tools for scientists to communicate their findings and interact with the public at large. Active use of social media tools will increase their scholarly impact as well. I am an experienced teacher, consultant and discussion leader.
