Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency
Drivers Medical Group

Dear Sir,
It remains unfortunate for myself that my driving
license continues to remain revoked. Further action has included contacting a legal representative
who specialises in driving licenses. On being informed about the Secretary of State's driver medical
group I'd like to point out that 12 Months only applies for those suffering with a drug dependency.
I believe somewhat that the specific medical advice obtained from my Doctor states that I do not
have a drug or drink dependency.
In your letter you mentioned I have 6 Months to contact the courts. Having written to my local
Magistrates they have advised me to 'take legal advice and continue to liaise with the DVLA'.
It is now clearly a case of my good progress being documented. I will communicate further with my
medical team Erewash Adult Recovery regarding the steps I need to take to prove my sobriety and
look into seeing Dr Ramji at an earlier date.
Yours Sincerely,
Will Spowage
