terminals plus two international terminals serve the airport. SFO has its own BART station,
which connects it to San Francisco and the East Bay.
You can travel to San Francisco airport through car, taxi, train, and bus. Trains run to San
Francisco airport. BART operates rapid rail service to northern San Mateo country, San
Francisco and the East Bay directly from SFO. BART can be easily accessed from any terminal
by riding SFO'S Air train to the garage Bart station stop. There is no charge to board Air train.
BART provides a connection to Cal train at the Millbrae station. Sam Trans public bus service
provides 24 hour service connecting SFO to San Mateo county and parts of San Francisco and
Palo Alto. Door to door vans provide service between SFO and passenger specified locations in
shared ride vans. Depending on the number of passengers, door to door vans may make multiple
stops. Taxis depart from the designated taxi zones located at the roadway center islands, on the
arrivals/baggage claim level of all terminals. Charter services are available to most bay area
locations and must be pre-arranged with the service operator.

to and from SFO. Advanced reservations are required. Book a limousine operator before
reaching SFO. Customers should pre-arrange their pick up location with the limousine operator.
Services can be pre-arranged with the limousine operator, or arranged upon arrival at SFO
through lodging, transportation and attraction boards, which provide free phone connections to
