• The market:
– Small to medium sized technology companies
– As of 2012, there were 3,961 professional, scientific
and technical service businesses in the Waterloo,
Ontario, Canada region. Most of those are small to
medium sized.
• The need:
– Frequently, these companies do not have the time or
the expertise to create all the technical content they
need. They cannot afford to hire a full-time writer to
create this content, so they must hire a contractor.

• Initial customer segments are scientific and
technology companies in the Waterloo,
Ontario, Canada region
• Expansion will occur to the 8 research centres
in the area and to the University of Waterloo,
which was ranked as the top comprehensive
research university in Canada

• Initially, this service will be offered in the
Waterloo, Ontario, Canada region.
• When this market is saturated, expansion will
occur into all of Ontario, then to all of Canada.

• Offering training seminars in effective writing

7. Service Development and Delivery
• Contracts will be fulfilled from company office
or onsite, depending on customer preference
• Contact with customers will be in person or by
email/Skype as customer base grows
• Initially, contract fulfillment will be through
the work of the founder
• As more contracts are obtained, the office will
expand to add more writers
