computer is so small and portable, we can locked it in safe after
shutdown the computer.

• Not quite, software either close source or open source may have vulnerability, although open
source you can see the code is much safer, it has to use the latest o

cial updated code to
compile.

cial, even though the running result is the same as the o

one, the non-o

cial one could possible to hiding hacking code inside to steal information. Only
the o
ffi
cial is more trustable.
• Not quite, some nodes may using their own source code to simulate the result of the o

node. But it could be have some problems in sometimes to make loss while the transaction has
problem.
• Not quite, as we have no idea what code are using on that web even it claims it is opensource.
• Not quite, as we have no idea what the cool wallet inside doing. The design of cool wallet is a
small MCU and storage to store the private key of the Wallet Address. And we have no idea
what is the program inside even it claims it is open source. The most safe way to use the cool
wallet is to recompile the Firmware of the MCU from the source. That would be nearly the same
as we use the o

cial client or recompile the o

cial source of the o

cial client on hot wallet.

• A more safety system is not so user friendly, it would be
more annoying. And not only for person, but for a group
of people. Such as company network.
