explain and show you all the great new places to find the latest Information on
the web, new apps to make your life easier and even free storage clouds to help
you out at work or to keep valuable pictures from your phone automatically.
Welcome to the WEB 2.0
4. Monster.com has recommended the top 10 best tech
blogs. I will briefly talk about the top 3 which are
Mashable.com, Gizmodo.com, and GigaOM.com
Tech Blogs
5. I found that Mashable.com is the
simplest blog source on the
internet and its known as number
1. Its very basic and simple. It has
a picture and a title. If you're
interested just click and begin
reading the blog.
6. I find this site to be very formal and informative. It speaks about current trends
and “What’s New”. I like the main page doesn’t seem busy and well
coordinated.
7. “Gigaom is technology research and analysis
firm. Our focus is on helping business leaders
understand the implications of emerging
technologies and their impacts on business,
media, and society.” – Gigaom.com
This website is trying to be the leader by working with 2 other companies to
stay up to date with technology and businesses. It has over 6.5 million
subscribers. I find it a little busy but Informative.
8. These are the 3 top business blogs
recommended by
Succeedasyourownboss.com
9. It looks very neat and
informative which I can
understand why it is preferred
among other sites. Its simple
to navigate and the colors of
the font look relaxing.
10. “We’re here to help you build a
better business. We are here to
help you, to teach you, and to
provide solutions that help you
build and grow your business in
smart, efficient ways.” –
Bplans.org
I felt like I was reading a newspaper when browsing thru this site. Its more
scripture than pictures which can attract more professionals.
11. Smart hustle look new and fresh. This
seems to attract more of a younger urban
group. Makes me think of a saying “Think
outside of the box”. Easy to use and
extremely informative.
12.
13. One of the website
mostly used by
Facebook and other
social media. Very
popular and up to
date.
14. Reddit.com in my opinion is the
best blog site there is. You can see
all types of blogs and even has
videos and news. Very well known
for people expressing their ideas.
15. This site is a very liberal site. The Information it
post is very bias and I don’t recommend it.
16.
17. Google Drive is a cloud storage. One of my favorite programs to use in school is google drive. It allows me to
connect assignments and project with other student at one place. I can choose what to share and who can edit
the document. It is also great to share pictures and videos for vacations. Google gives you 15 free gigabytes to
start and if you want more you can purchase it at a low cost. This is perfect for college students who have low
funds. They have great customer service if you encounter any problems.
18. Drop box is another type of cloud but its sync more accurately with your phone. This [program is great if your
phone is damaged by dropping it or water. It also help if you lose your phone or worst of all its stolen. You have
an option to auto sync so you will always have your videos and pictures saved.
19. LinkedIn.com is a great
networking tool. It allows
you to connect with all
types of professionals. You
pretty much are
downloading your
Resume online for every
professional to see. I
strongly recommend
everyone has one and
keep it updated
