 Provided ongoing installation, support, and administration of Unified Communications
and Call Center technology. This includes testing and documentation of various platforms
including: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Intelligent Contact
Management (ICM), IP Contact Center (IPCC) Express, Cisco Unified Customer Voice
Portal (Cisco CVP), Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), Cisco Carrier Routing
System (CRS), Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUPS), and private branch exchange
(PBX)
 Insured that all Managed Information Department equipment was within compliance of
Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), Department of Defense(DOD) Information
Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), Health Insurance
Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), and Information Security standards.
 Managed and maintained various servers, gateways, switches, and peripheral equipment
associated with Tandberg / Polycom HD Video Teleconferencing, Patient reminders,

COMMUNICATION: REPORTS/PRESENTATIONS/TECHNOLOGY
 Gave monthly presentations to the executive steering committee and the Commanding
officer on the Managed Information Departments Process Improvement Initiatives.
 Managed over 30 contracts, evaluated life cycles, periods of performance and executed
option years for IT and Telecommunications equipment.
 Maintained and managed over 7 million dollars in IT and Telecommunications assets with
a resultant 97 percent inventoried and 100 percent accountability.
 Project Manager for the installation and implementation of a robust $250,000.00 Cisco
Voice Over Internet Protocol Unified Contact Center that receives over 15,000 calls per
day including patient appointments, prescription refills, Nurse Assistant Line, specialty
care, Mental Health, OBGYN, and many other critical hospital services.
CUSTOMER SERVICE/TEAM BUILDING/PROBLEM SOLVING
 Over four years experience as a help desk technician, with numerous awards for customer
service and excellence in customer care.
 A key player in the implementation of a Command wide Mentorship Program which
successfully and electronically documented mentoring progress and deficiencies throughout
the command for over 900 sailors. This greatly boosted moral and effectively decreased
avoidable lost man hours.
 Leading Manager in the Telecommunications Closet Maintenance project which
dramatically cut down patients being affected by service interruptions. The project took
over 180 man hours working in 15 separate closets documenting over 45 switches and over
1600 telecommunications and data communications devices. This saved the Navy over
$168,000 in outsourcing costs.
