15. Kitchen In our school we have got lessons in which we learn how to keep a household. These lessons are held in the kitchen.

16. Musicroom In the musicroom children play instruments, especially the blower's classes.

17. Extra building Our school is so big that we need another building, too. In this building the Years 5, 6 and 7 have their lessons.

18. Cafeteria In the cafeteria students can eat in the afternoon. Every day there are three different meals (vegetarian or non-vegetarian.)

19. Gym In the gym are the sport lessons. The sports competitions also take place here.

20. Breakfast station At the breakfast station students and teachers can buy food and drink.

21. Bus stop Hundreds of students come by bus to school in the morning and drive at noon with the bus back home.

22. Blower's Class Blower's classes – music lessons in a new way At the year 2002/2003 started the Blower's class project. It allows children of Year 5 to go to a class in which evereybody learns a wind instrument. The project lasts three years. Afterwards the instruments can be played as a part of the extra-curricular activities of the Realschule Wedemark or in the Coconut Orchestra of the music school Wedemark. The following instruments are participating: Flute, clarinet, old saxophone and tenor saxophone, trumpet, trombone and euphonium. Everybody starts his/her instrument with no knowledge. In Year 5 the children get three hours of music lessons per week to make musik in the class (Year 6/7 two hours) They get group lessons one hour a week with teachers of the private music school. 30 € a month are the costs for lending the instrument and for the group lessons. What else is there? Blower´s class take part in many activities (in the school life, on christmas fairs and christmas markets, in events in the Wedemark, in the football stadium of first division club Hannover 96, for the presentation of the Wedemark, on the blower´s class day,…). Blower´s classes make fun and culitivate an identification with the class!

23. School exchange with France We have been having a school exchange with France for 18 years. Every two years the French students come to Germany and live in our houses. Our school organizes activities for the French students. They go for expample to the Zoo Hannover or to Bremen. The students leave, when one week is over. Actually they just were here in the month of September. And next year we will go to France and have a look they live!!!

24. Peer concilators Today I meet Lukas, a peer concilator Reporter: How much pupils are in the peer concilator group? Lukas: We are 13 pupils Re: How old are they? Lu: We are 14-15 years old. Re: What do you do as a peer conciliator? Lu: We are split in groups of 3 persons. In every class of the Year 5 are 3 peer coniliators. We help them if they have problems with their classmates. We go with them in an extra room and resolve the problem. When the classes in Year 5 go on a school trip, we go with them. Re: Thanks!
