SAP Visual Intelligence is the latest addition in the Explorer family. It is a new Desktop tool that was released at Sapphire on May 15, 2012. The 1.0.1 release adds several key features for the business analyst or the data artisans as we call them. They will be able to acquire data from a variety of corporate and personal data sources, to manipulate this data without any scripting, and replay these transformation rules on the data when the source gets updated. So on top of the analysis capabilities, users can combine data as they want, while still publishing the data onto the existing SAP BI platform, leveraging the security.SAP Visual Intelligence complements and extends the value of SAP BusinessObjects Explorer where analysts will be able to publish the data set created in SAP Visual Intelligence that can then be viewed from SAP Explorer web and mobile solutions.
