Moving Consumer Goods company with a heritage of over
80 years in India.
 With over 35 brands spanning 20 distinct categories.
 The Company has about 18,000 employees and has a net
sales of INR 33895 crores (financial year 2016-17). HUL is a
subsidiary of Unilever, one of the world’s leading suppliers
of Food, Home Care, Personal Care and Refreshment
products with sales in over 190 countries and an annual sales
turnover of €52.7 billion in 2016. Unilever has over 67%

 HUL is committed to operate and grow its business
in a socially responsible way. Their vision is to
grow our business whilst reducing the
environmental impact of their operations and
increasing their positive social impact.
 HUL collaborate and engage with different
stakeholders including Governments, NGOs,
IGOs, Suppliers, Farmers, and Distributors to
tackle the challenges faced by the society.
PROJECTS OF HUL(CSR)
PROJECT
SHAKTI
promoting education, including special education
and employment enhancing vocation skills especially
among children, women, elderly and the differently abled
and livelihood enhancement projects.
Swachh Aadat
Swachh Bharat
Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition, promoting
health care including preventive health
care and sanitation including contribution to the
‘Swachh Bharat Kosh’ set up by the Central Gover.
Prabhat Rural development
Project,
‘Prabhat’ (Dawn) is a program which focuses on
communities around our factories, The project aims to
create a positive social impact in the lives of 1 million
people.

 HUL has drawn up a comprehensive plan to
expand its portfolio in the area of-
 HealthCare
 Contraceptives.
 Chemicals business
 (encompassing Flavours, Fragrances and other
Specialty Chemicals), as well as several non-
FMCG export businesses such as Thermometers
and Mushrooms.
 HUL has been pepping up its rural distribution
systems and has launched low unit price variants
of its popular brands to draw in new users in the
rural areas
