SYNOPSIS
A result oriented and organized professional with 25+ years’ experience in planning and managing large

ACHIEVEMENTS
Received cash award for initiating and working through developing a document handling portal called Share Point.
This proved cost effective since the document transfer platform, which were originally used attracted license
charges.
Space for Electrical and Instrumentation cable trays and junction boxes were not identified during the 30% stage
in the earlier Projects and it accounted for lot of clashes later on. Suggested to reserve volumes for cable trays
during the 30% stage, so that future clashes were avoided.
Nozzle orientations for vessels were confirmed based on the Pipe routing and the vendor was made to agree to
our orientation, which helped in catching up later.
Suggestion was provided to segregate Civil construction packages into building foundation package and
Equipment foundation package so that building foundation works could be started in time at Site. Suggestion was
also provided to segregate primary and secondary steel packages so that primary steel fabrication could start on
time.
Archival of final records was a problem and there was no storage space available within the company for storing
hard copy drawings. Suggested soft copy storage method and initiated Archival folder creation and executed
archival of drawings/documents, which was long pending and space occupying.
Creating work space for the huge inflow of employees was a problem and I was challenged to create additional
Office space with a crash schedule. 3 Floors of Office space expansion was completed in 4 months in phases,
which was a major achievement since it helped the management to fulfil the Objective.
Handled huge volume of work in 4 months, which would normally be handled by at least 3 Engineers and it was
commended by the Project Director that I could handle things at the drop of a hat.
Temporary power supply for Construction purposes was provided through Hired diesel Gensets, which proved very
expensive. Hence a solution was provided for drawing power from the existing plant, laid out one line diagrams,
coordinated with existing plant for obtaining permits, executed the work of getting power supply to the
construction site in three days, which saved lot of money to the company.
Operating the EOT crane during crucial periods of overhaul and maintenance was a problem. Identified that the
problem was due to crane operators working on general shifts and came up with a solution of having them
working on shifts. Prepared a shift rota for the crane operators and it resulted in ease of operating the cranes and
it considerably reduced the maintenance duration.
