2. In this Unit Project, the “Me & My Family…Cube Collage” is the main student project output. It is a collection of student work (drawing, writing, coloring, cutting, web research, photos etc.) during the course of the lesson. It is about self, family and the country they represent. The Cube Collage will be use part of an Exhibit during Multicultural Week. “Me & My Family…Cube Collage”
7. This Unit Project is also designed to be a part of a school-wide project, for the culmination of the “Multicultural Week”. The Postcard Book is one of the secondary student output for this Unit Project. In the Postcard Book activity, each class will pick a country to represent, then the class will make 2 pages about the country and it will be compiled together with the other classes. The Postcard Book is about the flag and the different things the country represents. Postcard Book: “The Fun Travel Around the World”
11. The School Quilt is one of the secondary student output for this Unit Project. The class will design 2 section of the Quilt which will be part of a School Quilt. The students will put the different things that represents their countries (landmark, animals, flowers etc.) The students will paint, write, draw and decorate the Quilt using various art materials. The School Quilt will be on display during the “Multicultural Week” School Quilt
15. The Exhibit Board/Chart is one of the secondary student output for this Unit Project. The Exhibit Board/Chart will be a collection of pictures from the students web research and photos from family and taken during trips to the library and museum. The students will fill in the board after every lesson. The Exhibit Board/Chart will be part of the exhibit during the “Multicultural Week”. Exhibit Board/Chart
