AIM
 The aim of a hospital management system web application is to provide a
digital platform for healthcare providers to manage all aspects of their daily
operations more efficiently
DOMAIN: PYTHON DJANGO
 The Django web framework is a free, open source framework that can speed up
development of a web application being built in the Python programming
language. Django—pronounced “Jango,” named after the famous jazz guitarist
Django Reinhardt—is a free, open source framework that was first publicly
released in 2005.
EXISTING SYSTEM:
 Hospitals currently use a manual system for the management and maintainance of
critical information. The current system requires numerous paper forms, with data
stores spread through out the hospital management infrastructure. Often information is
incomplete or does not follow management.
 Forms are often lost in transit between departments requiring a comprehensive
auditing process to ensure that no vital information is lost.
Multiple copies of the same information exist in the hospital and may lead to
inconsistencies in data in various data stores.
DISADVANTAGE :
 One of the greatest disadvantages of the hospital management system is generally
related to security. It is considered to be a matter of concern in case you go online
without enough protection which can create some big problems related to security.
 Another greatest problem that is associated with the health care industry is the data
breach. Not only that, but it is also known to be a sophisticated problem.
 Lack of employment is another such thing. The chances of employment usually
become less with the automation of the system. Also, the gradual need for manual data
drafting becomes an irrelevant aspect.
PROPOSED SYSTEM :
 The Hospital Management System is designed for any hospital to replace their
existing manual paper based system.
 The new system is to control the informationof patients. Room availability,
staff and operating room schedules and patient invoices. These services are to be
provided in an efficient, cost effective manner,
 The goal of reducing the time and resources currently required for such tasks.
ADVANTAGES :
 Specifically, the integration of the software into the system has made
communication much more effective in the case of the health care system. As a
result, it is possible to access every data from anywhere in the world specifically
via. authorized login. This mode of communication has become relatively
cheaper.
 The effective usage of technology has contributed to minimizing many of the
limitations. One of the biggest issues in the health care system is considered to be
the geographical limitation. This has been effectively managed with the addition
of the hospital management system. The integral reports can be sent through
instant messages, emails, etc.
ALGORITHM :
 Learning algorithms in medical devices can analyze such vital signs as single-
lead ECG, SpO2, heart rate, temperature, and blood pressure. It can detect
anomalies very well since it is mostly about mathematics

provider has evaluated the patient's medications as part of a service. This may be
a prescription being written or discontinued, or a decision to maintain a current
medication or dosage
INVOICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM :
 Invoice management is an internal business function linked to procurement and is
responsible for managing and processing invoice documents from vendors and
suppliers.
 Invoice management is the process businesses execute to invoice their clients for
products and services they purchase, as well as to track invoices and make invoice
payments to suppliers and vendors. In simple terms, invoice management involves
dealing with both accounts receivable and accounts payable.

 This can be a powerful tool to help healthcare organizations improve their
processes and streamline their operations. It can provide an integrated,
comprehensive solution to managing patient records, billing and scheduling, as
well as provide real-time insights into hospital performance
