PROJECTS
Security aspects of IoTs focusing network protocols (2016)- Analyze the security problems in IoTs by studying the existing
literature work focusing on the network protocols.
Performance Analysis of OFDM, FBMC, UFMC on 5G physical layer (2016)- Implemented the three 5g modulation schemes
and compared the performance of different measurements like BER vs SNR, Spectral Efficiency, Spectral Density and PAPR.
Implementation of client/server transmission scheme using TCP and UDP over Android devices (2016) – Client/server
communication is established using TCP and UDP with priority scheduling where shortest job is executed first.
Effective usage of white space for wireless communication (2016) – Proposed two different network architectures which
aids the white space to be utilized for WiFi communication and independent communication between devices.
Self-automated accelerometer controlled motion planning Robot (2016) –Developed a accelerometer controlled robot
which implements motion planning algorithm Bug 0,Bug 1,Bug 2 to reach the destination choosing an optimum path.
Incentive mechanisms in non-cooperative wireless networks (2015) - Improved the efficiency of the intermediate nodes
in mobile user provided networks by providing incentives (virtual currencies), based on the service rendered by the node.
Performance analysis of MIMO-OFDM for various modulation techniques over different fading channels (2015) –
Implemented modulation schemes like QAM, PSK, DPSK in Rayleigh fading, AWGN, Gamma fading channels in MIMO-OFDM
and measured multiple parameters using MATLAB and SIMULINK.
Collision avoidance with integrated parking assistance using WSN (2015) - Developed a system in each vehicle such that
the vehicles communicate with each other ,transmitting data related to collision, emergency and parking information.
Convergence of IPV6 from IPV4 using dual stack and tunneling mechanisms (2014) - Established communication of IPV4
and IPV6 hosts using dual stack and tunneling mechanisms, and analysed a comparison based on IPV6 perfomance.
ACHEIVEMENT
Arch Hacks Winner (2016) – Developed an application to continously monitor body vitals of the aged, store the records
and in turn notifies the doctors and alerts the surroundings in case of any abnormalities.
