The APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, is leading in the 2015 Nigerian presidential election by 500,705 votes based on results from 25 states and the FCT announced so far. The APC has received 10,454,137 votes compared to 9,953,432 votes for the PDP. Analysis of regional voting patterns shows the APC candidate is ahead in three of the six regions.

2015 Presidential Election Update
The officially announced results from the 25 States and the FCT has the presidential candidate of the
APC, General Muhammadu Buhari in the lead by 500,705 votes as depicted in the chart below. The
total votes accrued to the Presidential Candidates of the APC and the PDP from INEC’s 1st , 2nd and
3rd Phase of results announced are 10,454,137 and 9,953,432 respectively.
The head to head contest for APC and PDP based on the Geo-Regional votes cast, indicates that the
APC Presidential Candidate is in front in three (3) out of the six (6) Regions as depicted below.
