This document discusses Turkey's efforts to create databases of authentic and fake cultural artifacts. It provides examples of original artifacts housed in Turkish museums alongside fake artifacts that have been seized. The goal is to use these reference databases to help identify fake objects and protect cultural heritage. Government agencies are working to digitize artifacts and make images and information available online to aid in verification and prevent the trafficking of inauthentic artifacts.
