  • 3. 3 • Navarro College received a Carl Perkins Leadership Grant from the THECB • Interactive eCourse with links, sites, and sources available to deepen understanding and knowledge of Career & Technical Ed. • Primary Goal: Convey a greater understanding of the role CTE plays in leading graduates to high skill, high wage, high demand employment by providing business and industry with a skilled and knowledgeable workforce

  • 14. 1414 Module 2: Components of CTE Programs 2 Supplemental Material AchieveTexas is an education initiative sponsored and funded by the Texas Education Agency. It allows students to achieve excellence by preparing them for secondary and postsecondary opportunities.

  • 20. 2020 Supplemental Materials Module 4: Advising CTE Students 4 The Texas Veterans Portal is a resource for veterans, their families, and their survivors. A compilation of resources from many government agencies is on the site to offer assistance, services, and benefits Veterans need.

It includes information on current CTE legislation, grants, and accountability data, as well as resources for developing and implementing rigorous, state- of-the-art career and technical education programs
