The basic aim of the Bachelor’s Degree in Hispanic Stu-
dies is to train professionals with a high level of aptitude

in expression and understanding of the Spanish language,
and sufficient knowledge of a foreign language, as well as

specific terms, future graduates must have descriptive and
analytical skills that enable them to engage in an in-depth
synchronic and diachronic study of the Spanish language,
in the interpretation of literary texts, in teaching the Spa-
nish language, and in editing of texts and other work rela-
ted to knowledge of the Spanish-speaking countries. The
educational content focuses on the acquisition of Spanish
and a foreign language in textual and contextual analy-
sis methods; on studying the history of the Spanish lan-
guage and its literature; on the description and analysis
of the phonological, lexical, morphological and syntactic,
semantic, and pragmatic-discursive levels of the Spanish
