2. • Varosha (Cyprus)- Varosha was a once bustling
resort town on the coast of Cyprus. It now stands
abandoned, and has ever since the Turkish invasion
of Cyprus in 1974. From a distance, it appears as a
still-active resort city, but not a single soul habits
Varosha any more.
3. • Door to Hell (Turkmenistan)- The Door to Hell was
at one time a massive gas field. However, during
Soviet rule, a group of soldiers set it on fire, and
his since then burned perpetually, showing no
sign of quelling even 40 years later.
4. • Leap Castle (Ireland)- Leap
Castle is said to be one of the
most haunted castles in the
world. It was built above a
torture pit and hosted several
slaughters. It said to be
haunted by a force known as
“the elemental,” which could
date back to the area’s origins
in the Iron Age (500 BC)
5. • Jacob’s Well (Texas)-
A spring in TX which
purportedly runs
over 100 feet deep.
There are sharp rocks
jutting out from all
sides and
claustrophobic walls
throughout, but that
doesn’t stop scuba
divers from exploring
it.
• Hoia Baciu Forest (Romania)-
• A deep, mysterious forest in
Romania that is infamous for
missing persons, UFO
sightings, and strange
electrical forces.

7. • Maunsell Sea Forts (North Sea, England)-
These odd-looking standing structures were
once designed to protect England from a
potential Nazi invasion during WWII. They
have remained untouched with years, and
the only way to access them is to do so
illegally (Loiterers, Vandals).
