2. About Us
Mission Statement
Cooper Motorsports is a
student-run organization
that prepares students to
be the innovative leaders of
tomorrow. We firmly believe
in challenging students’
creativity and analytical
thinking to design, build,
and race a car from
scratch. This project is an integration of multidisciplinary efforts that
successfully applies what we learn in the classroom to emulate the
organized framework of a small business.
What is Formula SAE?
The Formula SAE
competition is an annual
event hosted by the
Society of Automotive
Engineers (SAE) to
showcase the ingenuity,
creativity, and
engineering skills of
students from different universities around the world. The competition tests
the dynamic functionality and the marketability of a formula-style race car
geared toward the non-professional weekend racer. At the competition,
hundreds of teams, thousands of corporate sponsors, and countless
media outlets are present to take part in and witness the result of this
engineering challenge.

4. Sponsorship Levels
There are many different ways to
support Cooper Motorsports. From
monetary amounts to servicing
parts, any contribution from your
company is greatly appreciated!
The following list describes the five
levels of sponsorship Cooper
Motorsports offers:
Formula Sponsor ($10,000 +)
! ! ! Rally Sponsor ($5,000 - $9,999)
! ! ! Sport Sponsor ($2,000 - $4,999)
! ! ! Kart Sponsor ($1,000 - $1,999)
! ! ! Soap Box Sponsor ($100 - $999)
All levels include an appropriate sized Company Logo on the vehicle, as well as
an appropriately sized Company Logo, Link, and Description on the website.
Additionally, the Rally sponsorship level includes one VIP Pass to the race pits.

5. Past Achievements
2012:
• New performance tuned suspension
• Held fastest time in the final race
2009:
• Placed 37th out of 119 teams in
Michigan
• One of only 30% of all teams to
complete all events.
• Earned Recognition of Accomplishment
Award from Formula SAE.
2008:
• Competed in two events: Michigan and
Virginia
• Improved by 14 places in Michigan
2007:
• Placed 2nd among first year teams
• One of only 30% of all teams to
complete 22km endurance race
Future Goals
-Enter in the 2013 competition at Michigan
-Build a brand new car for the 2013 season
-Complete vehicle one month early for
extended testing
-Lighter and more commercial construction
-Have the best season yet!
