2. - Hello and Welcome again to another episode of Instant City –a BaMC Challenge. Last time, we crossed the 20.000
population mark and… ehrm… I guess, that was all that was of interest?... … … well, moving on, this time it is the last of the
military Servo households, C-4… let’s hope it’s not too explosive…-

3. -… and here are Nobby and Fred aka 11th Great-Grandson-1 and Nobby Bigfoot making friends with the Servo generals….-

-… alright, they’re friends already!...-

4. -… and Fred immediately lands a job in business that day so the generals refrain from kicking him out…-

5. -… Nobby also joins him…-

6. -… and chance cards…-

7. -… and Llama donation and money and…

8. -… promotion!...-
‘It’s another one of these chapters without anything interesting, right…?’
‘Chillax, Fred, we’re only at the 8th slide, lets hope for the best…’

10. -…. Alas, no aliens, Fred’s motivation was down…-

-… thankfully, Strawberry Lemonade brought with him from his fathers shopping spree last round lightened his mood…-

11. -… so he could immediately get back to work, and while General C-4 pulverized a satellite…-

‘STOP! No step further! You are doing it again! For the umpteenth time: we want character – not your blabbering about
‘promotion’, ‘chance cards’, ‘aliens’ etc. every time you write another series of slides! Also, you can’t just postpone our
characterization all the time!!’

15. -… and with that settled, let’s welcome the next generation… here’s 12th Great-Grandson-1…-

17. -… and last, but not least, 12th Great-Granddaughter-3, who was born after 6 PM, so the game actually considers her a day
younger despite being spawned only a few minutes later…-

18. -… and whether in character or not, Fred did what every good father would do, teaching his kids lullabies…-

- SSH! She also likes ‘smoking’ red heads , but dislikes jewelry… well, she doesn’t like them on others, so it’d makes sense
she’s jealous if somebody other than her gets it… all in all, that is a pretty logical turn-on/-off-combo….perhaps I should give
her…-

-… this is a big turn-around this chapter… first, they whine about no personality and now they’re afraid I’d make them
anything but Superman without Clark Kent…-

29. -… oh well… next is 12th Greatgranddaughter-2, who is into money and likes soccer redheads… okay, top soccer players earn
a lot and some of them might be red heads, that works… and dislikes custom hair… so no neon-colored punk heads, got it…
not unreasonable either, that’s nice…-

30. -… finally, fun loving 12th Great-Grandson-1, who likes logical elders and dislikes art… … well, even our gray-haired geniuses
might like a good night out… also, why should a pleasure aspiration always mean disco, chess tables in a library can be fun
too… then again, not going to a gallery might be a bit at odds, but to each their own… yeah, that too is a reasonable
combo… wow, you are all pretty reasonable for a change…-
‘No! Character!’
- Aw, come on – your kids already have reasonable characterization from their personality, so why…?-

-… okay, I should be used to the fact by now, that my Sims always are always opposed to me no matter what I say…-

31. -…. So without further ado, let’s add optional skills and find a job, in business of course…-

32. -… oh and by the way, no, we have not forgotten about the household’s latest addition, 12th Great-Granddaughter-3… but
since she was spawned only a few minutes after her siblings but after 6 PM, she has a whole day more to wait to get old
enough to grow up… well, she got into the zone for playing all the time with the blockies at the table, so there’s that…-

33. -… and she caught up with her siblings just a day later, being a popularity Sim who likes ‘smoking’ logical people but dislikes
brown hair… okay, reasonable too, chess masters on TV usually dress well and not everyone of them is brown-haired…-
‘*AHEM*!’
-… I won’t give her personality, if it’s that what you mean…. *Sheesh* Fred, stop being so obsessive about not having a
character… wait, isn’t that … ‘characteristic’ for you now…?-

34. -… okay, with that settled, time to move on leveling the business from last time, the Zero Fusion Arcade…-

35. -… though first, we need to pass on business skills…-

38. -… and sewing… also, Nobby maxed his magic skills, so he made some ingredients for magic spells in the future…-

39. -… and finally, it’s time to level the business… though that is admittedly the least interesting aspect of a ticket counter
business, you just sell tickets till your thumbs get numb…-

40. -… but at least the Customers actually used the hobby activities…-

41. -… or grilled hot dogs…-
‘… remember the days, when we were highly decorated generals and could shout at people? Man I miss those…!’
‘… days where we were levelling businesses likes this the same exact boring way?’

42. -… and as a rare occasion, we even got a prize for the business… since the journalists get a free ticket, it’s difficult to get
them appreciate what a wonderful business we have…-

43. -… anyway, we finally made it to level 10….-

44. -… and then something rare happened: Vonnie and Link were actually talking to each other…-
‘… and I still say: this is NOT a city anymore! I mean, okay, cities can have ‘exclaves’ separated from the city… but have you
ever heard of a city having exclaves on the moon?!’
‘First time for everything…’
‘Aw come on, that is ridiculous – why can’t they change the name to ‘Instant Country’ or ‘Instant State’ or…?’
‘Countries have exclaves on the moon?’

-… etc….-

45. -… the interesting thing that sprung from that, that even after the Servos left the conversation, the two were arguing and
talking even further….-

46. -… so at some point, we just left them to themselves and mediated outside, while waiting and waiting for more money to
pour in from them…-

47. -… we even got a second prize in between…-

48. -… until finally…-
‘… uhm, hi… listen, I still don’t understand how there can be a real estate office for property on the moon… but anyway, I’d
like to buy one… what kind of? Uhm, what do you have to offer… on the moon…?... Aha… aha…. Uhuh… hm… okay, that’s a
lot of info to take in… can I have one of all, by any chance…? Yes? Great, than sign me up…!’

49. -… and with that, we add another business to the Moon, the Lunar market Shopping District… okay, I should have used a
better name, but… oh well… anyway, this lot is actually a refitted version of Jawusa’s Lunar Market, originally having distinct
shops fitting an Asian Vacation hood…once again, I made it again resemble a bit more Zarathustra’s original design, adding a
decorative radio tower etc…-

50. -… same goes for the interior of the connecting tunnels to the domes…-

51. -… but the biggest change came to the interior of the domes – I moved and replaced some of the plants and just replaced
the Asian businesses with In-dome Pods, so in case of critical loss of air pressure within the domes you can survive inside…-

52. -… while the front and inside of these domes are actually taken from a number of 1x1 community businesses I had originally
built for a more seedy part of a neighborhood…. here’s a Fast Food restaurant I called ‘The Pink Plumbob’… might become a
chain at some point…-

53. -… with the inside being inspired by some smaller fast food restaurants I saw during my last Visit to the States…-
‘It looks nothing like that!’
-… who was in the States, you or I? So shut up and stop ruining my memories….! -

54. -… the next one is a Clothing Shop, that was inspired by… clothing shops?... Oh, anyway…-

55. -… the inside is cozy, conveniently equipped with greenhouse lights for Plantsims…-
‘… in other words: you’re justifying why you put these ugly things in here… well, it looks ugly anyway, so carry on…’

56. -… okay, so this clothing shop actually prides itself for creating its own styles in the back room…-
‘… which is completely opposite to a normal clothing shop… but points for coming up with such a crazy idea…’

57. -… anyway, third business is a small super market…-

58. -… where you buy groceries and stuff… … … okay, what’s your mean comment on this one? Huh? Huh?!....

59. -… anyway, final business is a small bakery/coffee shop… also has a small spot for the moon dogs should they get here…-

60. -… with the inside being cozy and quaint… I guess… hello? Annoying voice? Look, I’m sorry if I was mean, but help me out

61. -… anyway, with the Lunar Market now completely explored, here’s a short overlook where I placed it… while I now consider
the area around the original moon base to be the original landing side, the part with Jawusas lots on the right is now the
moons Chinatown, and the radio tower… well, I think of something to put here…-

62. -… anyway, back to our household and…-
‘Hi – I’m 12th Greatgranddaughter-3… my sister bought the Lunar Market a looong time ago… yeah, the guy writing this took
ages to explain this asylum for the criminally insane…’
-…. Wait – YOU are the annoying voice who…! –
‘… and since we earned a lot more moola from these wizards still arguing about city definitions, I’d like to buy a second
one… why? Because I want to see, what other madness the guy has in store, it’s like watching a bad movie, you just can’t
stop watching….’

-… okay, so we bought another Lunar market, again with the design from Jawusa, though this time I called it ‘Lunar market
Body Shaping’, as this is the new theme, changing Sims overall looks…-
‘Will it change my outlook on your general idiocy?’
- …you know, you will sooo regret these insults…-

64. -… anyway, first business on the list here is this seedy lot…-

65. -… and while the fore room doesn’t reveal much of what is this all about…

66. -… the first room actually shows that it is actually…-
‘… a barber shop for clowns? I mean, look at all the painting deco!...’
-…No! Okay, so the painting deco might not show clearly what it is…-

67. -… but looking at the second room might clarify that it is…-
‘… a spa and barber shop for clowns? Okay, I admit I have no idea what you’re implying with this… what are these strange
crates in those rooms, anyway?’
-… these are actually CC mods for – getting a TATTOO! Because this is a Tattoo Parlor! The chair is for Tattoos for the front of
a Sim, and the table is for Back Tattoos – and the boxes are tattoo boxes from various creators all around the web…-

Urban Decay Tattoos – the original creator was Morague at MTS, SpaceDoll made several more Tattoo boxes, but like
Morague made a failure, so the tattoos didn’t stick permanently, Marhis then fixed Morague’s and several of SpaceDoll’s
tattoos were fixed by Quinctia/Rikulidea, who released more tattoos and even published a tutorial for making tattoo boxes,
which inspired more creators like Choco, DeeDee and yerluvinuncle… I tried myself too, but failed horribly…. *sigh*…-

69. -… anyway , next business…-
‘WAIT! Okay, I admit, the idea of getting Tattoos sounds actually awesome, but how can you sell them to customers…?’
- …Yeah, that’s actually a problem… only way I saw in the end to apply tattoos to townies was to use mods like the
Insimenator or SimBlender to make Sims selectable so they could use the ‘get tattoo’ option from these boxes…but I
digress… -

70. -… so next business is a gym, pretty self-explanatory why this is body shaping, and the bar of course only serves protein
shakes… though I added another object that derived from the tattoo box here, Inky-Fish's Bodyhair Overlay Box FIXED
(Quinctia), as you can also apply overlays that look like Body hair and I thought that a Gym sounded fitting… I forgot to add
Marhis' GoS Bodyhair Overlay Box this time, but added it later… as well as *cough* Morague's Anatomy Bits / fix by Marhis
*cough*…-
‘… body hair… okay, this sounds not too farfetched for a Gym, I agree…but how about a barber shop, because of the hair
aspect…?’

71. -… which brings to our next business, a – you guessed it – barber shop…-

72. -… this one is pretty self-explanatory again, you get a haircut, you can buy perfume… btw, the little rocket on the table? A
futuristic looking fan, at least that’s what I imagine…-
‘…seriously?’

73. -… and finally, our last business, a tanning studio…-
‘…?’

74. -… truth to be told, I don’t know, how a tanning studio looks like on the inside, so only thing I came up with was a lot of
yellow, towels to borrow and sun lotion to sell… and yes, it’s perfume, but it’s yellow…!...-
‘I just started to have respect for you, but now…’

75. -… as for tanning beds… well, Numenor once had released a tanning bed, but alas, it’s a donation gift… and I’m a cheap
bastard (sorry Numenor…) – and I actually didn’t like the look so much (sorry, sorry, sorry!!!) plus Sims won’t use it
autonomously anyway, so I settled for Sasillias free Solarium tanning beds, which is basically a bed and a lamp, but like
Numenors tanning bed won’t give you a tan…-

76. -…that’s why I included another overlay object here, the original object for the tattoo and body hair overlay objects,
Morague's Sunburn/Frostburn Maker (probably not fixed)…-

77. -… and here we have it, the Lunar Market, for shopping and body shaping…-

81. -… and level 5 already… wow, that was fast, and the lot wasn’t even lagging, which was what I was afraid of the most…-

82. -… onward to the body shaping lot, as leveling to level 5 is much faster than level 10…-

83. -… oh, and I just had to remind myself, that this Lunar market has a small addition I forgot to mention…-

84. -… a tiny work station to produce robots…-

85. -… but back to the businesses – since you would need sunglasses or so for the tanning bed, I included one just for deco…-

86. -… and interestingly, the tanning studio was actually the first lot frequented by Sims… though this Servo will probably be
disappointed by the fact, that he can’t get a tan… well, neither do Plantsims, but the pretty light might make it attractive to
them anyway…-

87. -… unfortunately, a Tattoo is not possible for them either…-

88. -… or even a haircut… yeah, minus the gym, there isn’t much Plantsims can gain from here…-

89. -… but anyway, things are running smoothly and…-

-… ups… yeah, the size of the lot makes it difficult to keep an eye on everything… can someone man the cash register,

91. -… still, even with this little setback, we soon made it to level 5…-

92. -… and meanwhile, more little droids went to work, watering plants…-

93. -… and just gave the market a nice, automated, all-around cared-for feeling…almost wondered, why don’t use them that
often….-

94. -… unfortunately, I soon remembered, why I don’t use them so often…-

95. -… as they break so easily, with the hydroids spewing water and the clean droids producing trash en masse…-

96. -… so in the end, they were put in storage aka the rooms actually surrounding the businesses, after been given a repair first
so they continue spreading chaos…-

97. -… anyway, with the body shaping done for this chapter, it’s back to the shopping…-

98. -… and while I forgot to take a picture of it, we got another prize from Not-Komei…-

99. -… luckily he didn’t see this… yeah, one of the cleaners we brought with us and placed on this lot got malfunctioning and
started producing trash…-

100. -… by the time we finally stopped it, it had produced enough trash to fill an entire composter… hmmm, a disposal site lot…
have to keep that in mind…-

101. -… anyway, we made it to level 10 and closed up right after that…-

102. -… just when we were going to add new products to our businesses… *sigh*…-
‘You did not! You just waited with producing stuff till you had the business levels and now you just set the stuff up…’
-… as I said, just when we were producing new stuff, like baked goods…-

103. -… or new clothes…-

104. -… or pottery…. Wait, that’s not right, we never set up pottery… oh right, forgot to get the Servos their pottery and sewing
badges…-

114. -… and look at that nice moon colony! Looking really pretty now, hopefully expanding even further in the future… and we
got another population increase… though of course, had I split the market up in 8 separate businesses, it could have gone a
