TSiBA is a private, not-for-profit higher education institution established in 2004 with a mission to graduate entrepreneurial leaders who create social change. It began with 80 students on full scholarships in 2005 and has since expanded, including opening a rural campus in 2009. TSiBA graduates have high success rates, with 11% becoming Mandela Rhodes scholars, 90% employment placement, and 50% graduation rates which is double the national average for black commerce students. The institution focuses on genuine empowerment through its education model and support of entrepreneurs.
