• Expire = Soft Delete (30 days)
• All associated services also deleted
• Specify period
• Owner / Administrator gets email to renew or delete

With a Teams retention policy, you can:
• Retain content, delete content, or both
• Use the SCC Policy creation user experience or Teams Retention PowerShell cmdlets
• Different retention durations
• Entire organization or specific Teams
• Use retention policies with the SharePoint & OneDrive location rows to address the
Files in Teams.
You create and manage retention policies on the:
•Policies page in the Microsoft 365 compliance center.
•Retention page under Data governance in the Office 365 Security & Compliance Center.
